IoT Events monitors your equipment or device fleets for failures or changes in operation, and triggers actions when such events occur. You can use IoT Events Data API commands to send inputs to detectors, list detectors, and view or update a detector's status.

Use this page to mock AWS IoT Events Data in your testing and development.
Run our mock API sample using the open source WireMock library, or in the free edition of WireMock Cloud. You'll have a working API server simulating the behavior of AWS IoT Events Data, which will allow you to keep building and testing even if the actual API you isn't currently available.
